Submission Process

We are very excited to announce the first edition of the Prix Galien Korea, honoring the biggest innovations in the life sciences. The Prix Galien is an honor of the highest order for the teams who bring forth life-changing drugs, biologics, technologies, methodologies, and digital solutions. Worldwide, it unites the greatest initiatives in incubation and acceleration and recognizes the industrial fabric from the start-up through to the blockbuster lab.

A prestigious committee comprising eight of the finest distinguished researchers in their fields will be chaired by Professor Park Yeong Min, MD. The committee will judge submissions to the inaugural prize in the categories Best Biotechnology Product, Best Digital Health Solution, Best Medical Technology, Best Pharmaceutical Product, and Best Startup.

The premier prize for the research, development, and distribution of innovations improving the human condition will follow the inaugural Galien Korea Forum, which will take place as part of the World Knowledge Forum on September 10, 2026. Special guest Dr. Marty Makary, immediate past commissioner of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), will address the Forum.
